Billy Childs Sextet/Brian Blade

A rare UK headline show for this most versatile of modern jazz pianists, Childs has worked across the board with jazz greats like trumpeter Freddie Hubbard, smooth jazz star Chris Botti to arch neo-bopper Wynton Marsalis. His harmonically rich sound and delicate touch make him one of the more lrical players around especially here with his own band that includes harpist Carol Robbins, UK sax ace Tim Garland and phenomenal drummer Blade.
