BLUESFEST: Ray Gelato Giants + Oli Brown Band + more

The first 'daytime stroller' event at this year's Bluesfest takes place in four different venues outside the main Royal Albert Hall performance space, with a single ticket for all of them. Saxophonist Gelato leads his cracking band through an entertaining blend of swing, jazz and rhythm 'n' blues, and British blues guitar prodigy Brown – John Mayall's touring guitarist – heads his own combo. Other acts include the Matt Schofield Band playing funky blues, soul singer Nate James, and funk duo Smoove And Turrell, plus live interviews by David Hepworth of radio DJs Danny Baker and Johnny Walker.
