As part of the rather excellent series of genre-crossing nights gathered together under the Upfront Project banner, Blunted returns for what feels like forever with a brilliant serving of electro-funk, juke, footwork and bass in this south London rave hole. The guests tonight are the stuff of legend. Early '80s LA electro pioneer Egyptian Lover shows the new breed of 808-humpers a thing or too, while first generation hip hop DJ and Bambaataa protege Jazzy Jay does likewise to the b-boy masses. More modern but just as unique, footwerk/juke mentalists DJ Rashad and DJ Spinn show off their extraordinary flair for tough, 140bpm beats, while modern hip hop star HouseShoes is also in the building. A rare chance to see so many different styles covered under one party roof, this is bound to be huge.
