At a press conference in a Chinese restaurant in Chinatown on Chinese New Year, Damon Albarn’s fab four announced their new album ‘The Magic Whip’ and a big Hyde Park show. We thought that’d probably be the first chance to hear the new material, but we were wrong (hey, it happens). A few lucky fans will be able to catch the band playing the whole of ‘The Magic Whip’ at this low-key show in a west London club, and we expect there’ll be a few classics on the set list too.
