Britten Sinfonia and Britten Sinfonia Voices under Eamonn Dougan are joined by a stellar line-up for ‘Messiah’, Handel’s remarkable oratorio, portraying biblical scenes, which was reputedly written in three weeks and sports some of his greatest music. Featuring instrumentals, magnificent choruses and beautiful solo arias – the latter sung by soprano Carolyn Sampson, countertenor Iestyn Davies, tenor Allan Clayton and bass Robert Davies.
