A fundraising concert for the INSPIRE! Appeal – to save the St Bride's famous 'wedding-cake' spire, designed by Sir Christopher Wren. The cellist Orlando Jopling, who has now given over 75 recitals of JS Bach's Suites for solo cello, plays the work.
Also, the launch of the Cello Pilgrimage CD, and Sir Simon Jenkins (author of 'England's Thousand Best Churches' and Chairman of the National Trust) speaks about the project.
