Chetham's School of Music pupils violinist Tudor Trita and pianist Hilary Suckling present Schubert's Sonatina No 3 in G minor; Wieniawski's Polonaise Brillante No 2 in A; Telemann's Sonata No 5 in B flat (from 'Essercizii Musici'). Then, Eleanor Doddford, oboe, with pianist Hilary Suckling performs Dorati's Fugue à Trois Voix from Five Pieces; and Piazzolla's 'Oblivion'. Next, flautist Catherine Hare joins Hilary Suckling for Fauré's Fantasie; and Gade's Tango-Fantasia. Finally, pianist Lydia Lallemant plays Ravel's Noctuelles and 'Oiseaux Tristes' from 'Miroirs'; and Kapustin's Eight Concert Etudes, Op 40 Nos 6 and 3.
