Chilly Gonzales

The genre-hopping Canadian ex-pat returns to play a series of intimate shows at Soho Theatre's new Downstairs space. He's probably best known for his comedy hip hop incarnation – complete with velour tracksuit and gold chains – but that's just one (now much diminished) string to his bow, as a recent lovely album of Satie-like piano compositions shows, as well as the Boyz Noize produced 'Ivory Tower' LP and the more recent and orchestral, 'The Unspeakable Chilly Gonzales'.
