Chitraveena to Hindustani Groove

Hawaiians think they invented the slide guitar, but they didn't, no sir. It was the Indians with the veena, a sort of slide sitar, here played by Chitraveena Ravikiran. It's a pretty rare instrument and a pretty incredible sound. Shruti Sadolika headlines the night with virtuoso khayal singing.
