The Californian Punch Brothers musician – and former Nickel Creek mandolinist – Thile brings an unprecedented virtuoso mastery to the humble eight-string folk instrument. Much like Grammy-winning banjoist Bela Fleck, Thile can dive into jazz, folk and classical sounds with ease, and is sure to find new levels of dynamic lyricism. Here he plays with bluegrass musician Daves on their new collaborative album, 'Sleep With One Eye Open'.
