Circuit: Hyperlink

Hoping to cultivate a new generation of art-lovers, Tate Modern is putting on a three-day festival of music and visual art, aimed at 15-25-year-olds. Hyperlink takes place in the gallery's Tanks and Turbine Hall spaces, and will encompass work by visual artists and designers, as well as happenings hosted by gastronomists and a pretty ace cross-section of the UK's urban music scene. Interactive elements will hopefully engage young visitors too: a 'Sail Away' installation for example will invite everyone to make a small boat for a huge sculptural installation in the Turbine Hall. The festival is free, though some events require advance booking.
