James Blunt, The Faces, Status Quo, Cyndi Lauper, Ray Davies, Olly Murs, Eliza Doolittle, Imelda May, Saw Doctors, The Like. The sort of festival that David Cameron and even Ukip would probably approve of, this festival-cum-country fayre – in its new home of Great Tew – markets itself as a 'very English' do, with champagne supping toffs mingling with middle-class families and morris dancers. A safely MOR line-up headed by the Impossibly posh former commissioned officer turned singer-songwriter Blunt, with a raffish beard and self-consciously 'sensitive' lyrics. Plus, Rick Parfitt and the no-longer pony-tailed (!) Francis Rossi chugging through their familiar, pub-boogie shuffle and Lauper, the former gum-chewing, garishly attired Noo Yoiker with the accent broader then the Hudson who is best known for her single 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun'.
