Craig Taborn

Renowned NYC Downtown keyboardist Taborn brings his fierce imagination to bear in a variety of settings, working with the likes of saxophonists David Binney and Chris Potter, being particularly explosive in the latter's Underground band. Yet here he's in a raw, unplugged solo piano setting and playing fractured and fluid pieces from his new ECM album, 'Avenging Angel' where he creates his own spectral sound world via minimalist themes and free moving improv.
