Daphna Sadeh

Talented double bassist Sadeh mixes folkloric Mediterranean/Jewish music with modal jazz to hypnotic effect. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, she earned her stripes with Israel-based band East-West Ensemble, touring internationally for seven years before forming her own group. Playing ambitious and otherworldly music, the band also features flautist/soprano saxophonist Stewart Curtis and trombonist Mark Bassey.
