Dennis Rollins Velocity Trio

Charismatic UK trombonist Rollins – who’s worked with the likes of Jazz Jamaica, Jazz Warriors, Courtney Pine, Jamiroquai and the Brand New Heavies – performs with his dynamic funky straight-ahead trio that features drumming prodigy Pedro Segundo. On a mission to take the trombone into classic Hammond trio territory, usually the preserve of guitar or sax, Rollins lets his effortlessly funky chops run wild in this freewheeling setting.
