Time Out says

The good folk over at independent music magazine DIY are no strangers to putting on a cracking live music event, having hosted countless gigs and even their own stage at SXSW in the past, so it makes total sense that they want to get in on the London festival action. The inaugural DIY Alive festival takes place across four East London venues over two days in April, and involves talks and workshops as well as a host of cracking acts, from big-hitters like Shame, Baxter Dury and Self Esteem to emerging artists including Alfie Templeman, Lynks, Lily Moore and Phoebe Green, plus a bunch of new acts being hyped by the magazine.
