Django Bates/Wolfgang Muthspiel

Whimsical, utterly original piano and synth maverick Bates revealed his not inconsiderable command of the acoustic piano on his hugely successful 'Beloved Bird' album, paying fulsome tribute to his childhood hero Charlie Parker. Here he's joined by another long standing musical friend, acclaimed Austrian guitarist Muthspiel, who he first met 20-years ago and vowed to play together 'once in a blue moon'. Tonight they explore The Beatles' music with renewed wit and invention, as well as individual solo sets.
