A high concept party with a killer soundtrack, which refers to the Dogme 95 manifesto adopted by avant-garde filmmakers like Lars von Trier. It stipulated that filmmaking should be 'based on the traditional values of story, acting, and theme, and excluding the use of elaborate special effects or technology'. Cue this new night that adheres to the mantra 'Jack 2 Jack' (still with us?) and sees two almightly Jacks of new and old, namely Farley Jackmaster Funk (house music forefather and member of Chicago's Hot Mix 5) and Jackmaster (Numbers linchpin who is one of 2011's most exciting genre-hopping DJs). Expect a mix of everything post-dubstep and UK funky to classic house via Chicago, Detroit and Dalston, with help from Jack the Tab with an '88 set (of course) and Bristol's Just Jack. And, no doubt, this night will be absolutely jackin' too.
