New York-based producer, musician and artist Fatima Al Qadiri is something of a hot topic in certain underground circles at the moment. Whether through her spacey, synth-drenched solo tracks or her work with grime supergroup Future Brown, her futuristic take on gritty electronic styles is frequently enchanting and hypnotic, if sometimes pretty abstract. Check her debut album 'Asiatisch' to hear her hyper-intelligent take on UK bass and related styles.
She'll no doubt be performing tracks from the album at tonight's show, which is a collaborative showcase from Turin music and arts festival Alfa MiTo Club to Club (#C2C14) and Field Day (FD are hosting the main stage at the Turin event itself). Supporting Al Qadiri are experimental sound artist Vaghe Stelle and dark, minimal techno producer Ninos Du Brasil.
