Florilegium perform Bach: Christmas and New Year Cantatas

Florilegium, directed from the flute by Ashley Solomon, with oboe d'amore player Alexandra Bellamy, soprano Elin Manahan Thomas, mezzo-soprano Sally Bruce-Payne, tenor James Oxley and bass Jimmy Holliday, performs Bach's Cantata (for the third day of Christmas): 'Süsser Trost, mein Jesus kömmt', BWV 151; Concerto in A for oboe d'amore and strings, BWV 1055; Partita in A minor for solo flute, BWV 1013; and Cantata for New Year's Day: 'Gott, wie dein Name, so ist auchdein Ruhm', BWV 171.
