Four Hands Piano: Dancing around Liszt

A four-hand piano concert with Panayiotis Gogos and Alice Hampel exploring the deep relationship and the reciprocal influence between the romantic composer Franz Liszt and the folkloric dances en vogue at that period of time. Starting with the 16 Waltzes by Johannes Brahms; it continues with the charming paraphrase of two popular arias by Donizetti; followed by the Spanish Dances by Maurice Moszkowski; Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody No 2; and a selection of Brahms's Hungarian Dances.
