What a pedigree this smooth-jazz colossus boasts. King of the roost has to be Bob James, the keys-man who glided through the '70s on waves of the silkiest, smoothest jazz-funk imaginable, thanks to essential albums 'One', 'Two' and 'Three'. Drummer Harvey Mason has a hell of a catalogue too, most notably the disco-stomper 'Groovin' You', as does bassist/vocalist Nathan East.
