This fidgity little metal-fest seems to like to switch venues a lot, alternating between six different Italian arenas since it began in 1997 and changing from one day to two to three and back to one again, but the line-up has remained consistently good. This year Gods of Metal invite back the titans of the new wave of British heavy metal JP to headline their fourth Gods of Metal festival. Airbrushed '70s rock troopers Whitesnake have also headlined twice before.
