Hannah James & Sam Sweeney

Nominated for Best Duo in the 2013 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, Bellowhead's Sam Sweeney and and Kerfuffle's Hannah James play traditional English tunes that bubble and leap with violin, viola, bagpipes, accordion, nyckelharpa (a sort of Swedish keyed fiddle) and the lesser-spotted Scandinavian Hardanger fiddle. And when they perform live, the sound of energetic clogging (James is also a dancer with the Demon Barber Roadshow) joins the mix too.
