Anyone remember The Metros, Peckham's straggly, sub-Libertine punk 'n' roll group? Well, through a strange alchemical process – via stints as The Saudis, Champagne Holocaust and Meat Divine, and gaining and losing members along the way – they've turned into one of London's most exciting young bands. Tonight, with their weird and wonderful garage-psych that takes in Butthole Surfers and Birthday Party, Fat Whites (alias Fat White Family) are at the bottom of a bill that also features the aptly-named Hey Colossus, making enormous-sounding, psychedelic noise-rock, and suburban alt.rock stalwarts Pheromoans.
