Having a famous parent is bad enough, but how about having two generations of Hank Williamses hanging over you? Obviously there are advantages to being country and western royalty, but it's a heavy load to bear, too. What Holly's done to set herself apart from her stetsoned forefathers about it is to make three crossover pop albums, that tap into Nashville melancholy but are only country music in the loosest sense. Her new record, 'The Highway', features Gwyneth Paltrow on backing vocals. Whatever would Hank Sr have thought?
