IMPERIAL WHARF JAZZ FESTIVAL: James Taylor Quartet + Zara McFarlane + Stonephace Stabbins/Zoe Rahman + Anthony Strong + Kairos 4tet + Congo Faith Healers

The B-3 bashing Hammond maestro JT returns to headline this festival, which also features sets from gifted vocalist McFarlane who performs her own brand of authentic nu-jazz meets neo-soul and talent-heavy group, Kairos 4tet, lead by alto/tenor sax star Adam Waldmann whose warm yet biting tone, attractive rock-edged (but acoustic) melodies and dazzling polyrhythmic grooves are well worth checking out.
