The impossibly posh military officer-turned-singer-songwriter brings his acoustic guitar and self-consciously 'sensitive' lyrics (that mention of blow jobs on his second album rarely gets mentioned) to a London stage. Despite being widely slagged-off (including a dishonourable induction into the Cockney rhyming slang dictionary), he's still phenomenally popular on paper, and you'll hear him back on Radio 2 with new songs from his latest album 'Moon Landing' – particularly the first single 'Bonfire Hearts', which his press team accidentally emailed to around three quarters of the British population.
