Jamie Woon

Twenty-seven-year-old Britschool graduate and post dubstep/nu-soul singer from Surrey, whose interpretation of 'Warfaring Stranger' was rinsed by feted noir soundscapist Burial in 2007 and first made him one to watch. It took longer than expected, but his folk- and electronica-influenced chops saw him make it to number four on the BBC's Sound of 2011 list, and recent debut album 'IMirrorwriting' easily met expectation.
