John Cage's Musicircus

English National Opera presents John Cage's Musicircus, a multi-performance 'happening' to celebrate John Cage's centennial year, and his innovation and philosophy. A 'pan arts' event, ENO's Musicircus is a two-hour immersive promenade event throughout the London Coliseum. The audience is invited to explore an array of performances, installations and experiences, which will create new and unusual relationships and a collision of sound and images. The 'happening' will include everything from games of chess, lectures on mycology, a particular fascination of the late John Cage, a toy piano recital and performances by a whole host of musicians of different genres. The composer Michael Nyman and Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones also perform as part of the event. (Part of Music Nation.)
