John Wizards

Producer John Withers and Rwandan refugee singer Emmanuel Nzaramba first met by chance in Cape Town in 2011. They lost contact – and then found out a year later that had just moved to the same street. Cue some home recording sessions that have surfaced on their self-titled debut album, mixing up African guitars with Western electronica and hip hop beats to startlingly bright and lovely effect. Now boosted to a full group for live performances, John Wizards (the name of their project) play a rare show in London. Don't miss out.
