With the coming of ‘Messiah’, let’s not forget JS Bach’s festive choral masterwork. The ‘Christmas Oratorio’ is performed by the Academy of Ancient Music and Choir of the AAM directed by harpsichordist Richard Egarr, with soprano Susan Gritton, mezzo-soprano Barbara Kozelj, tenor James Gilchrist and bass Ashley Riches.
