After two very atypical years, one of London’s biggest dance music festivals is back to take over Boston Manor Park in 2022. Across the Jubillee Weekend in June, the lovely green park in Brentford will play host to (drumroll) Junction 2. You can expect massaive names. You can expect hotly tipped up-and-comers. You can expect, basically, the holy grail of huge raves.
Is there a theme? Yes! In 2022 Junction 2 (which has always associated itself with creativity, technology and community) is all about rebirth and growth. Sounds good to us. What sounds even better though, is the lineup. The organisers have once against knocked the techno ball well out of the rave park.
Friday's roster includes the legend that is Jon Hopkins (complete with retina-busting visuals), cutting-edge trend-setter Four Tet, the ideosyncratic DJ producer Midland and New Zealand’s finest, Chaos in the CBD. You’ll also have to make room for the queen of techno Nina Kraviz and also American superstar Avalon Emerson. Elsewhere you'll find Ben EFO, Tasker,
Then, on Saturday, you can expect Junction 2 heavyweight Adam Beyer, Underground Resistance founder Robert Hood, DJ Boring and Michigan’s own Seth Troxler.
Saturday also features performances from Amelie Lens, Ben Klock, Richie Hawtin, Dr Rubenstein, Robin Ordell, Margaret Dygas and Fumiya Tanaka.
There's absolutely tons more on the cards so do check the official Junction 2 site for the line-up, and register so you’re first to know when tickets go on sale this November.
