K-MUSIC 13: Pansori Night: Ahn Sook-Sun

There is, you won't be surprised to hear, more to Korean music than 'Gangnam Style'. Here to prove it is K-Music 13, a capital-wide celebration of the diverse sounds of the East Asian states that takes in everything from classical to underground rock at venues from Cadogan Hall to the Scala. In the concluding concert there's a chance to sample pansori – a traditional, folk-rooted form of Korean opera – with its leading star, Ahn Sook-Sun. She'll perform the 'Heungbo-ga', the tragi-comic story of two brothers.
