Karine Polwart + Chris Wood + Michael Mara

Concluding Kings Place's Commonplace folk festival, Scottish songwriters Polwart and Mara and superb contemporary folk singer Wood will perform songs based around the theme of 'The Tongue That Cannot Lie' – the git bestowed on Scottish prophet Thomas the Rhymer in the 13th-century ballad. Author, journalist and former MP Chris Mullin will be on hand to assist in the exploration of truth and spin.
