Ken Vandermark/Paal Nilssen-Love Duo

A leading figure in Chicago's vibrant, esoteric and rock-edged contemporary jazz scene, multi-reedist Vandermark worked with the likes of Peter Brotzmann, the NRG Ensemble and Steam before forming his quintet. He's been on scorching form of late, especially (as here) in duo setting alongside jaw-dropping drum tyro Nilssen-Love.
