Funnily it seems that the more the London jazz community grumble about Ronnies the better the bookings. Recent acts Pat Martino and Vincent Herring are both good straight ahead players. But brilliant graceful pianist Barron is a wonderful pianist who found fame in the '90s when he was the last great partner of saxophonist Stan Getz. Worth checking out.
