Liane Carroll Trio

Anyone who hasn't seen Carroll is missing a treat. A barnstorming pianist and gravel-voiced, hugely emotive vocalist who brings a 'been there' and lived-in quality to everything she sings and who can shift gears from gentle ballad to hardcore soulful swing in a split second. Utterly brilliant.
