To celebrate Liszt's 200th birthday (born 22nd October 1811), Ealing Autumn Festival presents the complete 'Les Années de Pèlerinage' ('Years of Travel') for piano solo, played by rising young pianists. Tonight sees the conclusion of the three book series. Also included in the programme are some of the most technically demanding pieces written for piano: Liszt's Grandes Études de Paganini (six studies for piano), and the violin pieces that inspired them: Paganini's Caprices. Played by pianists Karim Said and Ina Charuashvili, with violinist Ben Baker.
