Louis Hayes/Cannonball Legacy Band/Vincent Herring

Detroit drummer Hayes, who's been behind thousands of key modern jazz sessions for more than 50 years (Yusef Lateef, Horace Silver, Stan Getz, Joe Zawinul, Oscar Peterson) here revives his '60s work with Cannonball Legacy Band. The all-star outfit features sax legend Herring on alto and young gun Jeremy Pelt on trumpet. Second of three nights.
