Makoto Kuriya/Jam Session/Workshop

Top-notch bebop, funk and modal jam session with instructive jazz workshop beforehand led by up-and-coming saxophonist Duncan Eagles. Tonight features a special guest appearance from Japanese fusion pianist Kurya, who's earned his stripes with the likes of Donald Byrd, James Moody and Toots Thielmans. They'll be playing groove-led fusion with a soul/funk edge.
