Manu Delago's Living Room

Following hot on the heals of the Hang-toting Portico Quartet comes this Austrian percussion virtuoso who draws extraordinary, melodic/percussive textures from the UFO-shaped, Swiss-made instrument. Classically trained Delago plays two separate hangs with his hands to create rippling polyrhythms and shimmering melodies. He's joined by violinist Isa Kurz and bassist Phillip Moll – all three creating unclassifiable spine-tingling acoustic music.
