Top-notch UK funk outfit Speedometer used to play Meters covers (hence the name), but they’ve since graduated to hard-hitting, stonkingly soulful Afro-funk. They appear tonight with big-lunged soul diva Martha High, who toured with James Brown for more than 30 years.
