Handel's oratorio 'Messiah' is presented as part of the Festival of Britain celebrations by Southbank Centre's Voicelab, which has invited singers from all round Britain to form a 750 voice choir to work with baroque specialist Harry Christophers and his The Sixteen chorus and orchestra in this truly massive choral experience. The Sixteen, The Orchestra of The Sixteen under Harry Christophers, with Sophie Bevan (soprano), Catherine Wyn-Rogers (mezzo-soprano), Jeremy Budd (tenor) and Ben Davies (bass).
