Mayumi Miyata/London Sinfonietta

Traditional Gagaku pieces from sho player Miyata – which translates as Japanese court music played on the ancient mouth organ, which has a chordal sound that's as dramatic to listen to as the instrument is to look at. There will be a pre-concert talk in the St Pancras Room at 6pm, free to ticket holders.
