Seeing this Portland indie-rock duo live is a pretty strange experience: since they slimmed down from a trio in 2011, Justin Harris runs around playing up to ten instruments at each gig, while his companion Danny Seim sits comfortably behind the drums. Their songs are written with a specially written computer programme, and recorded in sections via email. It's an untraditional approach, but what comes out of it is accessible, idiosyncratic and a whole lot of fun.
