Michael Nyman's Chamber Music

As part of its year-long Minimalism Unwrapped series, Kings Place explores Britain's leading minimalist composer through his seldom heard chamber music. On Thursday, The Fidelio Trio plays Nyman’s four piano trios, accompanied by short films shot by the composer. Then on Saturday, the Smith Quartet performs all five of his string quartets over two concerts; with a Nyman world premiere featuring accordian from Chroma ensemble.
