Former Miles Davis, Blood Sweat & Tears and Steps Ahead guitarist Stern is best known for his frenetic jazz-rock work of the '80s and his deftly played ballads and bop of the '90s. This all-star line-up features hard-blowing sax man Malach, dazzling tech-heavy drummer Weckl, and the deft funk-fusion bass playing of Kennedy.
