Nicolas Meier Trio: Breeze

Swiss guitarist Meier draws on Methenyesque fusion and Spanish and Turkish music to create his own powerful, compulsive blend of world-jazz – enhanced by his mastery of an unusual 'fretless' guitar, alongside exotic 11-string glissentar and Turkish baglama stringed instruments. Here in an acoustic trio with bassist Spanish percussionist Demi Garcia and Italian bassist Paolo Minervini this will be high-energy acoustic music packed with intrigue and imagination.
