Returning for their fourth year (their first in their new base at the Shacklewell) this excellent annual two-dayer earns its stripes by showcasing leftfield artists on the cusp of blowing up (previous NTC acts include The XX, SBTRKT, Joy Orbison). Tonight, Californian Nite Jewel (aka Ramona Gonzalez) creates beautifully spaced-out electronica and reverb-drenched synth-pop, Italian's Do It Better signing Sex Worker, Echo Lake's dreamy and spacious fuzz-pop and Doldrums' scuzzy, grungey power-pop.
